LMS was excited to welcome special guest speakers, Lisa Boyd, Director of Wellness Programming & Engagement, and student doctors Luis Murcia and Matthew Wilson from the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education who spoke to our students about the dangers of vaping, alcohol, and drug abuse. The event was a great opportunity for our students to learn about the risks of vaping and the benefits of leading a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Let's come together to celebrate Red Ribbon Week by educating our students in making positive choices for their well-being. Say NO to vaping and drugs and YES to a healthier future! #RedRibbonWeek #NoToVaping #DrugFreeSchool

Yesterday, Mr. Sam Sicard and Mrs. Stacey Hardgrave from First National Bank shared with students about savings, checking accounts, credit and borrowing.

Our LMS students had a fantastic time today learning from a local farmer about the incredible world of soybeans, corn, and wheat farming right here in our community. During the visit, they explored sustainable agriculture practices, discovered the importance of nutritious local crops, and gained a deeper understanding of how our local farmers play a crucial role in supporting and nourishing our community. A huge thank you to Mr. Jamie Patterson, our local farmer for sharing his knowledge with our students. #FarmToSchool #LocalFarmers #CommunitySupport
