🌾🐄 Farm to School Week Special Guest! 🐄🌾
Today, LMS was excited to welcome Canyon Dewey from Livestock Nutrition Center to speak with our students in celebration of Farm to School Week! 🚜 He shared some fascinating insights about beef by-products and helped our students understand where their food comes from—beyond just what's on the plate. From everyday products we use to the important role agriculture plays in our community, it was a great opportunity for students to learn how beef contributes to both our nutrition and the economy. A huge thank you to our special guest for bringing agriculture to the classroom and inspiring the next generation of informed consumers!

🎉 We have officially completed the first quarter of the school year! 📚 You can expect to see your child’s report card on HAC by the end of the week.

We hope you can join us for Parent Teacher Conferences Thursday!

8th grade Algebra 1 students have been investigating with Systems of Equations.

The Middle School students were introduced to the new book arrivals by experiencing a “Book Tasting." The students were excited to have new books to checkout from the library.

Yesterday, we were thrilled to have special guests, Ashleigh Smith, Registered Dietitian and her intern Aimee Vandergriff from the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education visit our afterschool program! 🥤💧 They spoke to our elementary and middle school students about the importance of staying hydrated and why sugary energy drinks packed with caffeine aren't the best choice.
The kids had a blast playing a fun game where they learned to spot drinks that are great for hydration versus those to avoid. Such a valuable lesson for healthy living! 🌟

Happy Custodian Day!
