Shoutout to Tristin Bolton and Wendy Crawford from the U of A Division of Agriculture Research and Extension Office for bringing the AR Foods program to Lavaca Middle School during lunch today! 🧀 Students had the chance to sample Gouda cheese, and the verdict is in: most students gave it a thumbs up and would enjoy it again! 👍
Arkansas Foods flyers featuring the nutritional benefits of hard cheese (like calcium and protein) and some tasty recipes were sent home with students. We love seeing our students try new foods and learn about healthy eating habits! 🍎💪
