A few weeks ago, our students had the chance to learn about ATV safety from an incredible guest speaker. As part of his visit, several students were selected in a special drawing—and today, they received an awesome surprise!
Huge thanks to Mr. Washington from Arkansas Children’s - Community Health & Safety for sending fitted helmets, gloves, and masks to these lucky students.
And that’s a wrap on the 3rd Quarter! We are beyond proud of our students for their dedication to learning, their perseverance through assessments, and, most importantly, their kindness and courage in standing up for others. Keep up the amazing work—let’s finish the year strong! 💜

📚 Today, LMS librarian Ms. Glidewell and a group of students visited LES to share the joy of reading with our younger Arrows. Through reading and rapping books, they showed just how fun books can be! 💜

The LMS Project Prevent Youth Coalition’s February project was all about reminding their peers to stay vape-free! Members shared an important message with students and handed out ring pops as a sweet reminder.

📢🦷 February is National Children’s Dental Health Month! Today, Chrissy Rhoades from Lavaca Family Dental visited Mrs. Foster’s class to teach students about the importance of brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups. 🪥✨She also shared why drinking water is the best choice for a healthy smile and why we should limit sugary drinks and snacks. 💧🚫🥤
Healthy teeth = Happy smiles! 😁 Keep up those great habits, students!
