Coach Headley serves as the Lavaca School District's Athletic Director. He has coached and taught at Lavaca Schools since 1997. He is also the Head football coach and Head baseball coach. He currently teaches health at the high school. In previous years, Coach Headley has also coached track, volleyball, softball and served as the assistant girls' basketball coach.

 Coach Headley is a graduate of Lavaca High School (1992). He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BS in Health/PE in 1997.

He married Dasha in August of 1995. She is also a graduate of Lavaca High School and serves as the media specialist for Lavaca Elementary School. Coach Headley has two children Hayden, who is married to Katie (Harrison) and Hope, who is married to Michael Lloyd. He has one grandson Luke Lloyd.
